A National Project To Bring Captioning To Live Theatre Performances For School Children In Year 3 And Above in 2010

We truly believe that the Arts play an important role in a child’s education.

The GoTheatrical! Kids project seeks to bring captioning (English subtitles) to children’s live theatre performances across Australia.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience and participate in the Arts, and through captioning, live theatre is accessible to so many children with a hearing loss.

We are delighted that so many wonderful Australian venues and production companies are participating in the GoTheatrical! Kids project.   And it’s not too late for more venues to get involved.   Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to learn more about the project or join the list!

A complete list of 2012 children’s productions at participating venues is NOW available and we are calling for expressions of interest from schools interested in attending one or more of the particular performances on offer. Please keep checking back at the list over the next few weeks as more and more venues are joining in!

GoTheatrical! Kids would not be possible without the participation and support of so many venues, production companies and organisations.

We sincerely thank each one of you for making GoTheatrical! Kids a reality:
