DESCRIPTION
Discover the captivating and inspiring stories of six young performers; champions of Fairfield’s underground Parkour and street style community.

This exciting show merges urban freestyle forms with contemporary dance to explore the challenges and collective freedom these artists discovered by mapping their city through movement. This work is equally as impressive for its physical feats as for its simple, powerful expression of the positive force of finding your feet. At the heart of Parkour is a mindset of creativity. A notion that the obstacles you encounter shouldn’t be avoided but rather deliberately engaged with in order to find your path – ‘jump first, ask later’.
