The Book of Everything

from the novel by Guus Kuijer Adapted by Richard Tulloch

Captioned Performance: Saturday, 13 August at 2pm

A humble, life-changing story for audiences of all ages

The Book of Everything tackles life’s big questions through the eyes of an unassuming nine-year-old boy who has started writing a book. He writes down everything that other people seem to ignore: the sky shrinking, an avalanche of frogs and the Son of God popping in for a chat. He also writes down his greatest determination: “When I grow up, I’m going to be happy”. This is a magical story about a child learning to act when faced with fear and wrong. Acclaimed children’s author Guus Kuijer’s magnificently humble story grabs your heart, challenges your mind, and makes you laugh, no matter how old you are.
