The smash hit Andrew Lloyd Webber musical LOVE NEVER DIES will be captioned for deaf and hard of hearing musical lovers on Thursday 22nd Sept at 8pm and the Sunday matinee 25th Sept at 1pm, in Melbourne at the Regent Theatre, 191 Collins St.
This is a great opportunity to see Love Never Dies which takes up where Phantom of the Opera left off, as the great love story moves to New York, to where the Phantom has sought refuge in the exotic and bizarre Coney Island. By subterfuge the Phantom draws his lover to Coney Island and there their destinies unfold.
With an award winning creative team including Director Simon Phillips (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Choreographer Graeme Murphy, Designer Gabriela Tylesova, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score, LOVE NEVER DIES will be the first new Australian production of an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical in nearly 20 years.
The design in particular has received rave reviews, with the Age ‘Lush and atmospheric. Glorious singing’ and the Herald Sun ‘A ravishing spectacle. Thrilling. Sets a visual standard that will be hard to surpass.’
