Eddo-Lodge strives to counteract the ingrained marginalisation of people of colour.” Harpers Bazaar

British journalist Reni Eddo-Lodge invites us into a frank discussion about the structures of racial politics and the ongoing oppression of people of colour.

Let’s talk privilege and power.

Reni Eddo-Lodge was frustrated when conversations about racism were met with angry denial and white guilt. In 2014 she published a blog post: ‘Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race’. Her words hit a nerve. The post went viral and comments flooded in.

Reni invites us into a discussion that moves beyond the personal and into the structural. With incisive wit, she explores the political purpose of white dominance, whitewashed feminism, and the link between class and race. Hers is an essential new framework for how to see, acknowledge, and counter racism. Do not miss this provocative thinker.
